May 16, 2009- LitCrawl NYC! I'm reading poetry for Columbia: A Journal of the Arts at the Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery) with Timothy Donnelly, Elizabeth Wurtzel, Peter Graham, and Stefan De La Garza. The event begins at 4 PM. Then at 8 PM I'll be reading fiction for The New York Tyrant with Robert Lopez at Fontana's on the LES (105 Eldridge Street) as part of LitCrawl NYC. The LitCrawl afterparty will be at Fontana's immediately following this reading.

May 13, 2009- 6:00pm - 8:00pm Poets & Writers trivia night in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Agriculture Reader will field a team consisting of me, Jeremy Schmall, Eva Talmadge, and Mathias Svalina. The event will be held at Radegast Hall and Biergarten, 113 North 3rd Street.

April 14, 2009- 6 – 7:30 pm. I'm reading nonfiction for Canteen Magazine at the New York Public Library. This is a CLMP event. Other participating magazines are Redivider and Broken Bridge Review. The event will take place in the DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room of The New York Public Library's Stephen A. I hosted David Gates, Ed Hirsch, Ben Greenman, Donald Antrim, and a number of other excellent writers in an evening of tribute to the great Don B. There was a reading of selections from Barthelme's work, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ed Hirsch. The National Arts Club is located at 15 Gramercy Park South.
