May 16, 2009- LitCrawl NYC! I'm reading poetry for Columbia: A Journal of the Arts at the Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery) with Timothy Donnelly, Elizabeth Wurtzel, Peter Graham, and Stefan De La Garza. The event begins at 4 PM. Then at 8 PM I'll be reading fiction for The New York Tyrant with Robert Lopez at Fontana's on the LES (105 Eldridge Street) as part of LitCrawl NYC. The LitCrawl afterparty will be at Fontana's immediately following this reading.
May 13, 2009- 6:00pm - 8:00pm Poets & Writers trivia night in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Agriculture Reader will field a team consisting of me, Jeremy Schmall, Eva Talmadge, and Mathias Svalina. The event will be held at Radegast Hall and Biergarten, 113 North 3rd Street.

April 23, 2009- 5:30pm. "WE MAKE BOOKS AND YOU CAN TOO!" X-ing Books and Small Anchor at Pratt Library in Brooklyn. Justin Taylor, Jeremy Schmall, and Joshua Cohen will read. Mark Wagner & Amy Mees will answer questions about DIY publishing and how to make it not look like crap.
April 14, 2009- 6 – 7:30 pm. I'm reading nonfiction for Canteen Magazine at the New York Public Library. This is a CLMP event. Other participating magazines are Redivider and Broken Bridge Review. The event will take place in the DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room of The New York Public Library's Stephen A. Schwarzman Building at Fifth Avenue and 42nd street (Please use Fifth Avenue entrance; admittance is free).

Tracy Daugherty is the author of Hiding Man: A Biography of Donald Barthelme. He is joined by David Gates, who wrote the introduction to the Penguin Classics edition of Barthelme's Sixty Stories.

January 18, 2008-DONALD BARTHELME TRIBUTE NIGHT AT THE NATIONAL ARTS CLUB. 7 PM. Free. I hosted David Gates, Ed Hirsch, Ben Greenman, Donald Antrim, and a number of other excellent writers in an evening of tribute to the great Don B. There was a reading of selections from Barthelme's work, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ed Hirsch. The National Arts Club is located at 15 Gramercy Park South.

July 29, 2007- PORTLAND, OR. Powell's City of Books hosted a reading for The Apocalypse Reader: Justin Taylor (ed.), Lucy Corin, and Brian Evenson. We read at the Downtown (Burnside) location at 7:30 PM.
June 21, 2007- The Strand Bookstore (12th street & Broadway) hosted The Apocalypse Reader. This reading featured Rick Moody, Brian Evenson, Gary Lutz, Deb Olin Unferth, and me.

July 20, 2006 I read at Freebird Books and Goods in Brooklyn. I read with Julia Cohen (in addition to above-mentioned, she is the author of two chapbooks forthcoming this summer and fall from Horse Less Press and H_NGM_N B__KS) and Tao Lin (author of Today The Sky is Blue and White with Bright Blue Spots and a Small Pale Moon and I Will Destroy Our Relationship Today).
